Management Team

Barbara Steinberg, President and CEO, co-founded eFraud Services, bringing a strong background in software development and forensic accounting. With a decade of experience in fraud detection, Barbara collaborates closely with forensic accountants and financial fraud investigators, specializing in bank statement conversions and analysis for their cases. Recognizing the limitations of existing software solutions, Barbara was inspired to develop an advanced software solution. Throughout the development phase, she actively engaged customers to incorporate their insights, ensuring the new product met their needs.

Barbara’s entrepreneurial spirit is evident in her track record of launching five businesses. Her prior venture, BLS Eldercare Solutions, focused on Medicaid planning, highlighting the critical need for specialized software in bank statement analysis.

Barbara holds a BS in Medical Computer Science from Downstate Medical Center, SUNY, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Robert Hayum, Vice President and COO, co-founded eFraud Services and brings a wealth of experience to the role. Previously, he served as Vice President of IT at Revlon, a Fortune 500 company, before transitioning his expertise to prominent consulting firms such as Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) and Business Edge. At these firms, he spearheaded the development of their Pharmaceutical Technology practices, working closely with global clients.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Bob is also an entrepreneur who launched and continues to manage two successful internet ventures: golfcaptains.com and golfersreport.com.

He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the City University of New York and an MS in Electrical Engineering from MIT. During his time at MIT, Bob contributed to the development of systems crucial to the Apollo lunar landing, with one of his devices now featured in the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C.

Colin McKiernan, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, brings a proven track record in client management across various IT consulting and systems integration firms. His career highlights include roles such as Global Client Director at Ernst & Young, Alliance Partner at EMC/Dell, and Senior Management positions at a variety of public and private institutions.

Colin is adept at cultivating strategic partnerships across diverse industries, including Life Sciences, Telecommunications, and Financial Services. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded and served as Managing Partner at TrueNorth Solutions, where he oversaw management and IT services for a proprietary CRM software product.

He earned a BS in Business with a concentration in Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
